Teslin Lake July 17

Although the TAG Fuel station, store, restaurant, RV campground was not the most upscale place in the world, it did it's purpose and was quiet. We got a couple of good nights sleep. After dumping, water filling and hooking up we set off for Teslin.

A little more traffic than hwy 37 but still light. Some idiot in a Ram dully, towing a big boat, passed me on a double solid line. I, of coarse, slowed right down and let him pass, luckily there was no one coming.

Some of the scenery along the way.

We ended up in a very nice Yukon Territory Park at Teslin. They are $12 a night with free firewood, no camp fire ban here. We have a view of the lake through the trees and the sun was even trying to shine. We had a very pleasant afternoon, evening. I cooked hamburgers on the fire.

The weather is supposed to get warmer in the next few days, that will be nice, it has been cold.

No wild live on the drive, except a bird that flew into my antenna and I guess he's done for. The speed limit was 100 km. at the time.

Whitehorse tomorrow.
