Smithers June 27-29
Want to see some beautiful country?? Come here. Big green valleys surrounded by snow capped mountains. It is absolutely gorgeous here. It is hot here as well as the rest of B.C., so yesterday 28th we went site seeing to stay cool in the truck. We took Jack with us.
First up was Tyhee Lk. P.P. This is another nice camp ground, some sites have power but I think they were all taken. Lots of room and privacy. This was our second choice if we hadn't been able to get into the municipal site.
Next was Twin Falls. I will let the photos speak for themselves.
As it was getting hot, I did not walk all the way up to the viewing platform and took this from a pick nick area. Still nice I thought.
Then we went to Moricetown to see the rapids. The Bulkley River flows through this narrow gorge.
And out.

I had an engine light come on in Ft. Fraser. Got an appointment at the Ford store Tue. morning in Smithers. They had to recalibrate the Mass Airflow Sensor. All good now
Tomorrow we head for Terrace.
